Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), Türkiye Factory (the "Platform"), as data controller, would like to inform you about how your personal data is processed.

Personal Data We Process

• Identity and contact details (name, email, phone)
• Membership and account data (company name, role, password hashes)
• Quote requests (RFQ), messages and the files you upload
• Security and usage data (IP, browser, visit statistics, cookies)
• Limited payment data (amount, transaction status). Your card details are never stored by the Platform; they are processed by our payment provider (Stripe).

Purposes of Processing

• Creating your membership and providing the services
• Matching brands with manufacturers and enabling communication
• Running payment and purchase processes
• Security, fraud prevention and meeting legal obligations
• Statistics and marketing where you have given explicit consent

Legal Grounds

Your data is processed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, based on the conclusion or performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the establishment or exercise of a right, legitimate interests and, where necessary, your explicit consent.

Method of Collection

Your data is collected electronically through membership forms, quote requests, profile and file uploads, and automatically as you use the site.

Transfers and International Transfers

Your data may be shared, only to the extent necessary and in line with Articles 8-9 of the KVKK, with service providers such as hosting, email delivery and payment infrastructure. Some of these providers may host servers abroad; in that case, transfers are made with the safeguards required under the KVKK.

Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and applicable law, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn whether it is used for its purpose, request correction or deletion, object to processing and claim compensation for any damage you suffer.
